When will the Oktoberfest 2015 take place? On Saturday, September 19th, the Schottenhamel tent is the place to be, if you want to catch the official opening ceremonies. At noon, the Mayor of Munich will have the honor of tapping the first keg of Oktoberfest beer. Once the barrel has been tapped, all visitors will then be allowed to quench their thirst. It pays to arrive early in order to experience the festivities up close and personal and it's quite common for visitors to come around 9 am to secure good seats. The festival will last until October 4th.
Our Oktoberfest starts on September 18 at 5 pm with LIVE MUSIC by Clement and Michael. We are serving Paulaner and Hofbrau Oktoberfest beer original imported from Munich, Bavarian food specialties = Leberkaes, Weisswuerste, Pretzn, Wurstsalat and more. Dont forget to make your reservation asap by phone at (727) 937 7400
We have special packages for your privat Oktoberfest with your friends at home. We cook and prepare everything and you pick up at the restaurant! Enjoy your own unforgettable Oktoberfest with German specialties

Other traditional recipes and friendly service make this a favourite for those who enjoy these hearty dishes. Quality is the key. You will enjoy the European elegance that prevails here.
Voted as Best German Restaurant in Tampa Bay Area
Uwe G. Kasper has brought his 45 years of experience as a food and beverage manager in international hotels to Holiday, where he is the chef and owner of a cozy European-styled restaurant called THE GERMAN RESTAURANT.
He has a college degree from the Hotel University Berlin in Hotel Training, Culinary and Gastronomy. He enjoys working in this smaller scale. Chef Uwe’s favorite offering at his restaurant is a fillet of pork tenderloin "Pepper", topped with piquant green Madagascar peppercorn sauce, home fries "German style" with onions, served with fresh cauliflower and sauce Hollandaise.
Since Uwe and Dagmar enjoy cooking and meeting their guests, they would be lost without a restaurant to operate.
